I'm a california native and as of 2018,  based in california and arizona.  in 2017, my husband and i decided to make our primary home in arizona because we fell in love with the desert!  the muted colors of the desert landscape and this golden, glowy light are just a few of the details i love about arizona.

my journey to photography began when my son was born, like a lot of moms.  documenting his growing years and his many years of playing sports became a passion for me.

i have always loved weddings and began my journey into the wedding industry in 2011. i started a boutique wedding cake and dessert bakery in thousand oaks, california, called frost it cakery.  while i was still able to get behind the camera during those years, i missed full time photography more than i realized.  when we decided to move out of state, i sold my bakery and returned to my first love of photography.

designing & decorating cakes taught me to pay attention to all of the little details and photographing those details has become one of my wedding day favorites!

a few things I love...

My life...  My why...

in my everyday life, I am married to Dave and a mother to sean.  dave is not only my best friend, but also the man who lifts me up and encourages me to follow my dreams.  sean is my biggest source of pride.  he is an exceptional human and i could not be more grateful to have him as my son!  I also have three rescue kitties, dexter, abbie and skittles.  I am passionate about animal causes and seem to be quite the "rescue" magnet so we often have animals in our home!

Family is truly the most important thing to me. Having lost my mom to breast cancer ten years ago, i realized the importance of documenting your family story.  my mom and i were the closest of friends and thankfully, she was able to see my brother get married, but she passed before ever meeting his two children.  Had our family not taken many, many photos of her, my niece and nephew would not be able to fully share in the stores we tell them about their nana.

i have our family photos professionally updated each and every year and have photos in frames all over my home!  it's important to me to be able to share my love of photography with my clients and preserve their stories for sharing in their homes as well.
